Transparent, Direct-Pay Addiction Treatment

Why We Are a Direct-Pay Practice

A deliberate decision made in the interest of your privacy and care

Bayani Health & Wellness does not accept health insurance. This is a deliberate decision, made in the interest of your privacy and care.

When treatment is billed to insurance, claims become part of your insurance record. Explanations of benefits can be seen by employers who sponsor health plans. Coverage decisions can delay or interrupt care. And, for patients who need complete confidentiality, any insurance involvement carries risk.

By keeping Bayani Health & Wellness outside the insurance system, we keep your treatment between you and our physicians - and nothing else.

What You Can Expect to Pay

$675 per 3-month session (equivalent to $225 per month)

Treatment is structured in 3-month sessions to support stability and continuity of care. Each session includes:

  • Evaluation by a physician specializing in addiction medicine
  • Evidence-based medication-assisted treatment for Alcohol Use Disorder or Opioid Use Disorder, when appropriate
  • Follow-up visits
  • All physician visits via secure telehealth video
  • Medication management and care planning
  • Guidance on shifting to primarily plant-based eating patterns, to support overall health and recovery
  • A prescription for movement that is tailored to your life and fitness level
  • Ongoing communication with your physician and care team via telephone, secure text messaging, or patient portal

Fees are for one patient, ages 16-80. There is a one-time enrollment fee of $100. This fee begins your care and includes your initial comprehensive assessment with our board-certified addiction medicine specialist physician. There are no co-pays, per-visit charges, or hidden fees.

Prior to the end of your three-month session, you'll be notified so you can decide whether you want to continue. You can choose to continue care with us based on your needs and discussions with our physician. There is no long-term obligation — treatment is collaborative and flexible.

Medication Costs

Prescription medication costs are not included in visit fees and are paid separately at your pharmacy of choice. Most medications we prescribe are available as generics at reasonable cost. Your physician will discuss estimated medication costs with you during your first visit, so there are no surprises.

A Note on Confidentiality and Payment

Paying out of pocket means no claim is submitted to your insurance company, and no explanation of benefits is generated. Your substance use disorder treatment records are also protected under 42 CFR Part 2, a federal law that prohibits disclosure of your records - even to other healthcare providers - without your explicit written consent.

If you have specific questions about how your privacy is protected at every step of the process, we encourage you to ask us directly before scheduling.

Online addiction treatment may not be the right choice for everyone,

but many patients find that receiving care from home makes treatment more accessible, private, and sustainable because it allows them to receive medical care with privacy, flexibility, and dignity, while staying engaged in work and family life.

If you'd like to understand the care process in more detail, visit How It Works.

Your privacy is protected by federal law. Substance use disorder treatment records are governed by 42 CFR Part 2, which prohibits disclosure without your explicit written consent.

Bayani Health & Wellness provides confidential, physician-led telehealth addiction treatment for adults in Washington State.

We treat alcohol use disorder and opioid use disorder using FDA-approved medications and a whole-person recovery approach that includes personalized nutrition and movement guidance.

Your treatment records are protected under 42 CFR Part 2 — federal confidentiality regulations that are stricter than standard HIPAA.

We are a direct-pay practice. No insurance claims are filed.
