Our process is designed to be simple, private, and free of unnecessary friction. Here is what to expect from your first contact through ongoing care.
You do not need a referral from your primary care provider.
You do not need to involve your health insurance.
You can contact us directly, schedule your first appointment, and begin treatment — without anyone else knowing you're here.
If you have questions before scheduling, you can request a private consultation by phone or through our website form. We will answer your questions and help you determine whether Bayani Health is right for you.
Schedule your first appointment online or call/text our office at 253-389-4881. Appointments are typically available within 48 hours. You will receive a confirmation with instructions for your secure telehealth visit — including how to access the platform and what to have ready.
We will ask you to complete a brief intake form before your visit so your physician can review your health history in advance.
Your first appointment is a private, secure video visit with our addiction medicine specialist physician. This visit typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes. Your physician will:
There is no pressure and no judgment. This is a clinical conversation between you and your physician.
If medication-assisted treatment is appropriate, your physician will prescribe through a Washington State pharmacy of your choice. You do not need to visit a clinic or a pharmacy in person — many pharmacies offer delivery.
You will have regular follow-up visits with your physician — typically every two to four weeks initially, with visits spacing out as you stabilize. Between visits, you can contact our team directly by phone or text.
Your physician will monitor your progress, adjust your medications as needed, and work with you through any challenges that arise — including relapse, which we treat as a clinical event, not a reason to end care.
You'll also have ongoing direct access to our physicians between visits. No waiting for days until someone responds.
When you are stable on treatment — typically meaning consistent medication adherence and no recent relapses — your physician will introduce the next phase of Bayani Health's program. This is a physician-prescribed component of your recovery plan that includes:
Addiction disrupts the body as well as the brain. These physician-directed lifestyle interventions address the physical dimension of recovery in a way that medication alone cannot.
If you have more questions, please request an introductory call with our physician, who can answer your questions about treatment and learn more about the care we provide.
Starting treatment can feel uncertain — especially if you’ve tried to stop before.
While everyone’s experience is different, many patients find the first few weeks to be a period of adjustment and stabilization.
When starting buprenorphine treatment for opioid use disorder, many patients may notice:
It’s also common to experience an adjustment period as your body responds to treatment. Your physician will guide treatment decisions, monitor how you’re feeling, answer questions, and make changes as needed throughout your treatment.
The goal is to help you feel more balanced, functional, and supported — not sedated or disconnected.
When beginning medical treatment for alcohol use disorder, some patients may notice:
As with any medical treatment, responses vary. Your physician will guide treatment decisions and work with you to find an approach that feels manageable and supportive, while monitoring both physical and emotional well-being.
At Bayani Health & Wellness, your treatment journey is not something you'll navigate alone. Regular follow-up visits allow your physician to:
